Dan Pratt is director of Company Valuation at IHS, where he oversees the financial research team’s exploration and production (E&P) company coverage and regional play assessments. Dan returned to IHS in 2011, after serving two years as director of oil and gas research at Ticonderoga Securities, where he covered nearly 20 North American E&P equities and wrote research for institutional investors. 

Prior to that, Pratt spent the first 12 years of his career as an equity analyst at IHS covering North American and international E&Ps. He received a bachelor’s d
