Fateha Begum joined the company in October 2010 as a research analyst on the television team, focusing on the IPTV market. She graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, in July 2010.
Dragana Boras joined the company in June 2010 working primarily to support the signage and public information displays analyst in the areas of demand forecasting, technology adoption, digital signage distribution channels, competitive analysis and pricing. Her research coverage includes retail signage/billboard, hotel TV, education, corporate, and transportation.
Prior to IHS, Boras worked in administration and sales.
Edward “Ed” Border joined IHS in May 2010 as a research analyst for the Television Technology team.
Previously, he worked as a Math Teacher in China and as a trader in the Sports Betting industry. Border graduated in the autumn of 2009 with a 1st class Masters in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, and holds a degree in Mathematics from the same institution.
With nearly five years of analytical experience in the cable television landscape, Erik Brannon brought his knowledge and experience to IHS in April 2008. He specializes in the economics of cable television networks, and is a contributor to the company’s U.S. Television Intelligence Service. Since joining IHS, he has participated in many consulting projects, and publication of several reports. Prior to joining IHS he served as analyst at Paul Kagan Associates.
Jonathan joined the television team at IHS in September 2010 as a research analyst focusing on the European market. Jonathan holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
Anna Buettner is responsible for the study and research on Germany's automotive and telematics market and analyzes German domestic OEMs.
Prior to joining the company, Buettner worked with policy research organization Center for Rural Policy and Development as a researcher to evaluate issues from a rural perspective.
Jacobo Carrasco Heres is an analyst covering the industrial electronics sector, with responsibilities for the company’s Indusrtrial Electronics Market Tracker as well as the Industrial Electronics newsletter, among others. A graduate of the Erasmus Mundus Master of Science degree program in computational mechanics at the Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya in Spain and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes in France, Jacobo obtained his bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering at the Universidad de las Americas Puebla in Mexico.
Sweta Dash is one of the most highly-respected analysts in the displays industry. Virtually every leading manufacturer of large LCD panels and systems relies on her research and guidance, as do many of the companies that provide LCD materials, components and equipment. She is also a frequent advisor to firms that invest in the LCD value chain.
Dash has been exceptionally accurate in forecasting LCD supply, demand, pricing and technology adoption.
