Prior to that, Pratt spent the first 12 years of his career as an equity analyst at IHS covering North American and international E&Ps. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Rochester in New York. Dan also holds the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Stamford CFA Society.  

His areas of expertise are company valuation, and North American and international E&Ps. Dan’s research focuses primarily on value implications of North American unconventional oil and gas.
